Surprise, surprise! I received my Blue goose order today and already started making something. It is just so hard to get much done around the holidays. I don’t have enough time to clean things, make things, read things, and write things. Cleaning the house is a never ending battle…the dishes, laundry, and the floors if it isn’t one thing it’s another. When did I become so domesticated? Gone are the days when I got excited about new outfits and going out. You know out? Not going out to Target, going out in the evenings long after the sun’s bedtime. These days all it takes to get excited is a new kitchen gadget or something that makes cleaning or organizing the house a lot eaiser. Bitch and moan…complain complain… I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

I taught myself how to crochet on Saturday, nothing fancy just plain ol single stitch. Besides that I am too exausted to write anymore today. I need to conserve all my energy to be able to clean the kitchen before I head off to bed. If I could only quit my job and have an enough free time to work on whatever my little heart desired.

Hello Lola
I finally finished Little Lola. I think her face still needs a little tweeking, maybe some beads for her eyes. So technically I guess she isn’t finished, big surprise. Her dress took forever to make since it was so tiny and I had to hand stitch the entire thing. I think it turned out okay for my first attempt at making a little dress for a doll. I have some ideas for making the process and the finished product better the next time around. There are a few more pics here.
I also ordered more wool last night so look for lots more needle felted friends coming soon.
